Press Day at the Flying Morgan Castle

What is 30/90 by Star Foreman in partnership with the Ricardo Montalbán Foundation?
Mermaids, Stilt-walkers, Cirque de étrange, Ballerinas, Bellydancers and more will all take part in the 30/90 project. With 30 projects, 400 people, and 15,000 images 30/90 will take people into the mind of Star Foreman as she creates a series of images unmatched in scope and time.
30/90 will shoot August 2015-November 2015 with a gallery show in January 2016 hosted by the The Montalbán theatre. The Ricardo Montalbán Foundation is generously donating (should the fundraising for the project be possible) 10 days of theater rental for still shoots, full studio equipment camera and lenses (including top of the line video cameras and sound equipment,) and production space in their basement as well as hosting the gallery show.
About Star Foreman-
Named one of the top 200 photographers by Luerzer's Archive, Star Foreman is a fine art, editorial and fashion photographer in Los Angeles. A contributing photographer for the LA and OC Weekly, Star's work has also graced the cover of the Village Voice, Pasadena Magazine, The Dallas Observer, and Tease and Cake magazine. Her work has been featured in The LA Times Sunday Edition, Frame Magazine, Los Angeles magazine, Backstage Magazine, LA Confidential, Adobe Masterclass, SF Weekly, Latino Leaders, and INStyle Australia. Star received an honorable mention from the IPA awards (a division of the Lucies) in 2012 for her photo series of Dita Von Teese and was nominated in 2011 for a Los Angeles Press Club Award for her images of Flying Lotus. Two of her pieces are part of the permanent collection at the Riverside Art Museum.
Star holds a BA in photography from the Art Center College of Design.

Mermaid above Laurel Canyon on a trapeze 12pm-1pm
Castle Tour- 1pm-1:30pm
Mermaid 2nd location- 2pm-3:30pm
2nd castle tour- 3:30-4pm
Cirque de E’strange- 4pm-6pm
Le Petie Bon Bons- 6pm-7pm

Personal Plea:
Can’t make it to Press Day? I will happily skype, smoke signal or do any type of interviews on the shoots or my projects with anyone who will sit still long enough for me to talk about them. I love what i do and I love sharing what i do. The 30/90 is a passion project that I am trying to finance through crowd sharing but you don’t have to focus on or even mention the Kickstarter if you don’t want to.
